Penn Plax offers a high-quality canister filter that has proven to be much more effective than the competition: the Cascade 1500 Canister Filter. This incredible filter is easy to use and provides the maximum filtration that fish aquariums need. Chemical and mechanical filtration can be achieved by using the floss pads, carbon pouch, and internal media trays that are included. For biological filtration, the coarse sponge material provides a surface area, and the trays have enough space to add other media so you can customize the filtration.

There is an O-ring integrated into the motor head, which secures a watertight fit by using locking clamps. The filter also includes tubing connectors that control the flow rate. If you need to adjust the tubing’s angle, you can rotate the inlet/outlet nozzles, and there is a jet nozzle outlet and spray bar included for your convenience. Just like all other models, the Cascade 1500 Canister Filter is easy to start with its self-priming button.
